Extension of route 761 to Boon Lay Interchange
UrbanLinkz Buses' only route to pass through the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), service 761, will be extended to terminate at Boon Lay Interchange come Sunday, 1 June 2008. The service currently runs between Bukit Batok and UrbanLinkz Jurong West Interchanges.
The extension will see new links created for residents along Jurong West Street 63 and Avenue 3 who will not only get a feeder link to the Boon Lay train station, but also intratown links to the Jurong West Stadium and amenities along Jurong West/East Avenue 1.
Students of NTU will also benefit from an additional link to their campus from the Jurong Point shopping mall and Boon Lay station.
With the extension, service 761 will cease to terminate at UrbanLinkz Jurong West Interchange. However, passengers may continue to board this service at the bus stops along Jurong West Street 93 outside the interchange.
