New bus services 756, 782 & 783 from UrbanLinkz Marsiling Interchange
In our continuous efforts to improve our services, UrbanLinkz Buses will introduce three new bus routes serving Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun from its Marsiling Bus Terminal, which will be renamed to Marsiling Bus Interchange.
The three routes 756 (to Sembawang/Yishun), 782 (to Admiralty Street) and 783 (to Woodlands East industrial estate) will commence on Saturday, 12 January 2008.
The primary objective of these routes would be to enhance neighbourhood travel within the big Woodlands Town as well as between the three main towns in the north, namely Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun.
The 756 in particular will help link up Woodlands and Sembawang with the upcoming Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in Yishun. The 782 will provide yet another link to Republic Polytechnic while the 783 will increase accessibility to the Woodlands East industrial estate even on weekends.
With the introduction of these new routes, Marsiling Bus Interchange now holds ten bus routes, of which one, route 951 (to Eunos), will be withdrawn a week later following the implementation of a revised trunk bus service network for Woodlands Town.
