Improvements to UrbanLinkz's cross-border services

In an effort to improve cross-border travel to neighbouring Johor, Malaysia, UrbanLinkz will be making changes to the current cross-border bus services from Sunday, 10 September 2006.

A new service 930 will be introduced to operate between Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange and Kotaraya II Terminal via Kranji. A shortworking variant of the service, service 930A will operate between Kranji train station and Kotaraya II Terminal.

At the same time, current service 150 plying between Woodlands Regional Interchange and Larkin Terminal via Marsiling train station, will be renumbered as service 950. There will be no changes to the route of this service.

With the above changes, current services 151, 152, 156 and 157 will be withdrawn one week later on Sunday 17 September 2006. Their last day of operations will be on Saturday, 16 September 2006. Passengers affected by the withdrawal of these services can take the train to Choa Chu Kang, Kranji, Marsiling or Woodlands stations where they can transfer to new services 930, 930A and 950.

To further improve the cross-border travel experience, passengers of both services 930 and 950 can interchange between the services at the Woodlands and Tun Aminah immigration checkpoints at no extra cost, making the checkpoints convenient transfer points.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
